A comprehensive guide to China visa requirements for Arab citizens: travel with ease
The requirements for entering China vary according to nationality, passport type, and the purpose and length of the visit. Some Arab nationalities need a visa in advance, while citizens of other Arab countries enjoy exemptions in force under specific conditions. You should therefore check the official rules for your nationality before you travel, and then choose the appropriate visa type only if a visa is required.
Do you need a China visa?
Not all Arab travelers need a visa in advance. Among the current exemptions, holders of ordinary passports from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchanges, and transit, until 31 December 2026. Other exemptions exist depending on nationality, so you should check the official policy for your passport before you travel. Work, study, journalism, or a stay that exceeds the terms of the exemption requires the appropriate visa.
