Luhu Park

A large public park at the foot of Baiyun Mountain in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, with a lake and extensive green spaces.

About this place

It is one of the well-loved parks for walks and exercise, combining water and green hills in a calm atmosphere. It lies at the foot of Baiyun Mountain and serves as an entrance to some of its trails; it includes the “Yun Dao” elevated walkway.

The park extends over interlinked green spaces, including the southern slope of Baiyun Mountain, where Lu Lake begins. The lake is surrounded by a beautiful garden with many species of birds and tropical plants. Directly next to Luhu Park lies Xian Xinghai Park, which contains the Hong Huolu Temple, as well as a direct connection to the Guangzhou Sculpture Park. Yuexiu Park and Guangzhou Yuntai Garden are also within walking distance.
